Stay Alfred - huh?

Yep, that’s us! We are the first Nation Wide Urban Vacation Rental Company. What does that mean? Stay Alfred was founded based on the idea of offering innovative, reliable, and consistent short-term vacation rentals at a price that’s affordable, while making booking, checking-in, and checking-out quick, easy, and stress-free. Booking the perfect stay shouldn’t feel like taking a shot in the dark. At Stay Alfred, we know that guests prefer accommodations that are straight-forward and stress-free.

Stay Alfred’s offerings are ideal for families and corporate travelers alike. No more staying on separate floors and no more sets of side-by-side beds. Our guests enjoy three times the square footage of an average hotel room. They enjoy having separate bedrooms and a real living room. They save money by cooking some of their meals in their complete kitchen. They have a washer/dryer, in case they need it. They get 5-star customer service from our team of dedicated hospitality experts.

And the best part is, our guests know they’re getting all of those things every time, no matter where they stay with us. Your stay with us in Portland will look the same as your next stay in Seattle. Your booking, check-in, check-out will be the same in Denver as it was in Nashville, so you don’t have to wonder. Consistency is our key ingredient.

History

Jordan and Conrad grew up together in the big-city-in-a-small-town of Spokane, Washington. After high school, Jordan enlisted in the Army, and Conrad pursued his career in Real Estate. After a tour in Afghanistan, Jordan was planning a trip for his family and friends in Denver, Colorado where his brothers lived. After searching for hotels to accommodate six adults, someone mentioned renting a house or a condo. He found a condo across from famous Coors Field, an amazing location that slept everyone comfortably, allowing them to relax and spend quality time together. They actually wanted to stay and have fun in their rental, which, let’s face it, doesn’t happen with many hotel rooms.

Immediately after the trip, Jordan called his friend and devoted, genius real estate agent Conrad. He pitched his idea to Conrad, they gathered up some money, took out a few credit cards (just like every other start-up you’ve ever heard about) and started what has now become Stay Alfred. Jordan and Conrad envisioned creating a service that offered guests the reliability, cleanliness, and professionalism of a hotel, while simultaneously giving guests the sheer value, added space, and additional privacy that a quality vacation rental offers.

The hybrid Stay Alfred model has been a big hit- since opening for business in 2010, Stay Alfred has expanded to five cities (with several on the horizon for 2014), with over 1,000 4-or-5 star reviews from guests on trusted sites such as VRBO, HomeAway, AirBnB, and FlipKey.

But it wasn’t always easy, and this graphic demonstrates just how far we’ve come:

The entire time, we have asked every single guest for feedback because our guests are far and away the most important part of our business. They tell us when we’ve done well, but more importantly, they tell us what needs to be done better. And believe me, we listen. That’s been our formula for success, and that’s our promise moving forward.

Today, Stay Alfred is composed of a small but dedicated team of hospitality enthusiasts who love helping guests make their vacation or business trip a lot less stressful and a lot more enjoyable.

All the while knowing that we’re leading inside -and outside- of the industry.
