Location, Location, Location!!! For the first-time Seattle visitors, the location was perfect!! Pike’s market place( 10 minutes — the unit had a full kitchen so we bought fresh seafood from the market place and cooked it at home!!!), Westlake Monorail station ( 3,4 minutes), Seattle center ( 15 minutes), Westin ( where my husband had a week-long conference - right across the street!), Whole Foods ( found Whidbey Islands ice cream there and they were one of the best ice cream I had), Starbucks ( right around the building, wait,,was it the same building?) If it didn’t rain, we would’ve walked everywhere ( well I guess it’d be a little tough with our fussy 17 month-old who only sits in a stroller if he’s about to fall asleep). The amenities were great, we loved the common area ( we played peekaboo with our son there when it was raining), the pool/jacuzzi ( we used it twice while we stayed there for 4 nights). I am so glad we found this place, compared to all the hotels we were looking at. We’d come back here again!

Perfectly situated base for exploring Seattle
Perfect location, great amenities! Walk to Pike Place Market, train and monorail. Took train from SeaTac airport - station is just a few blocks away. Best Italian restaurant (Barolo) is on ground floor. Eighth floor outdoor area is a perfect setting for wine and appetizers on a sunny afternoon. So nice to make our own breakfast (with goodies from the Market) then come “home” at the end of the day and relax in the living room. We were a group of four adults, traveling for pleasure. Booking and location staff were friendly and very professional.

The apartment is spacious and it’s just like our home away from home. The pople at the concierge were very accommodating as well as Keari of alfred’s. My daughter left her 2 pairs of shoes at the apartment and they delivered the shoes at our other hotel after our one-week cruise. Apartment is accessible to all attractions in Seattle.

Great location, great price
We loved this place! 6 girls from all over North america met for a girls trip.The location was perfect for what we wanted, shopping and spas. The outdoor area on the 8th floor was so nice to sit at after a long day of walking. We had 2 gripes about this rental : both cots smelled of something vile so some people slept on the floor and there weren’t sheets for the cots.Overall, highly recommend!

The apartment was beautiful. It was very clean and the towels were thick and fluffy. I think the sheets could be replaced. The location was perfect for our purposes. Parking was so appreciated. The most important issue for me was that it be extremely clean and it was. Kitchen was well equipped although Seattle has such wonderful restaurants… We didnt cook at all. Great TV in great room but lacking in bedrooms. Ac was much appreciated

Nice Place. We enjoyed it! The only thing I would say is the the Unit was face east not west like to photos in the advert. Also more towels please. Also the wifi didn’t work and the alfred’s people weren’t that helpful so I reset it to what it should be. The wifi id was next to the TV which was across the room from the modem… Why not provide the info in the welcome package.

"awesome and cool"
We had a wonderful stay here over Christmas vacation to visit friends. LOCATION-It was within walking distance to Pike’s Market and Downtown shopping areas. There is a small convenience store just outside the lobby (although, as other reviewers have noted, it is a bit pricey, but great for its convenience.) INTERIOR- Loved the modern decor. The windows look out onto an office building across the way but it didn’t bother us. You can also see bits of Downtown Seattle from the balconies. The beds were very comfortable. My husband slept soundly for the week and he is usually picky about beds. The kitchen was adequately equipped with basic essentials and everything was clean. The one unexpected and welcoming perk was a bag of goodies and water which was greatly appreciated. BUILDING-The kids enjoyed the pool and the finess center and thought the apartment was “awesome and cool”. We would all love to return for another stay. We did have to pay extra for parking, but that is not uncommon given its downtown location.

We give alfred’s Vacation Rentals 5 stars. My husband and I both agreed, renting an apartment for our vacation made our vacation amazing. There were 4 adults and 2 kids, ages 12 and 10. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted or take the light rail, since we were right in the middle of downtown Seattle. The apartment was very clean, beds and cots very comfortable, and lots of room for lounging around for 6 people. Having a full kitchen with all the cooking tools one would need, helped save us money on food. The pool was a great feature between adventures for the kids. They were able to get out of the sun and cool off. I used the gym 2 out of 3 days and was amazed by the variety of equipment and cleanliness. The front desk staff was very friendly, Kim (I think was her name) was amazing and very helpful. The only thing we would suggest would be having 2 stools at the kitchen/dining room counter. We would definitely recommend alfred’s to friends and family (strangers too)

Really nice location and well appointed two bedroom. The gym and pool are great. The deck is beautiful but the bar-b-question suck. There is a Wally nice common room with a nice tv and sound system.

Great apartment, convenient location, easy stay
We were at a conference at the Convention Center, so it was great to be within a few blocks. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well stocked with anything we needed during our stay. The beds were very comfy, showers were nice, and the amenities in the building were great! We fit 6 adults in to the apartment, it was a bit of a squeeze, but worked. Might have been better if the furniture was arranged in a different way so that the roll away beds fit better.

After looking into hotels for my husband and myself and my daughter and her family, I came to realize that there was a much more economical way to enjoy a short vacation. Vacation Rentals By Owner was the way to go. We spent less than half of what it would have cost to stay in a 4-star hotel. Well worth it. Luxury accommodations in the middle of everything
We visited Seattle for a couple of days over spring break with our teenage son and daughter and teenage friend. It was very comfortable with nice sized bedrooms and family room. The staff at the front desk of the apartment building were very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed the dry sauna and steam room, and it was nice to have a view while working out in the gym (although the view was of a new building being constructed, but still nice to have a view).The carpets could use a cleaning, as it creates a negative first impression of the room, but otherwise, everything was clean and in good condition. We paid less for this than we would have for two rooms in a hotel, and it was a much nicer way to stay.

Great stay at the Metropolitan Tower in Seattle! StayAlfred staff were terrific and had timely information and updates. The location and quality of the property is superb. I even took the Light Rail from SeaTac and walked a couple of blocks to the apartment - it was just that easy. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Great Location, Ammenities and Service
We’ve been to Seattle many times and this was our first time renting a condo instead of staying at a hotel. Wonderful apartment in a perfect location. The outdoor terrace and pool also added to the experience. The check-in/check-out and parking were also hassle-free. Bonus was the master bedroom walk-in closet, which made a perfect baby room.

Great 8th Floor amenities
My family and I loved the two bedroom apartment. We were ale to spread out after a week long cruise. Wash all our dirty clothes and even cook some of the local seafood that was available everywhere. The 8th floor was a vacation all by itself. Swimming pool, gym and a terrace with BBQ grills

Great location, easy instructions, gym and pool facilities great.There was washing powder/handee towels/gladwrap in Kitchen which was helpful.Within easy walk, 20 minutes of Pike market and Space Needle, 5 minute walk from WholeFoods.Only thing would be that the carpet was covered in stains, everything was very clean so we assume carpet was but it just didn’t look great. lighting not great for readingWe would use again

This was a really nice unit in a great building in a nice location. Check in and check our was effortless. The unit was nicely furnished, internet worked perfectly and we had no complaints. The apartment was fine, but if you have more people than 4 people (2 in the king, 2 in the queen), the roll-away beds are useless. We put the mattresses on the floor, but that wasn’t any better. The mattresses and the springs are awful. The sofa was fine to sleep on, though. The other thing about this unit is we had a hard time finding an electrical outlet that worked. None worked in either bathroom, which made hair-drying challenging. I would definitely stay at the Metropolitan again, but not with more than 4 people in this unit on the 26th floor. 2608, I think?

Secure parking, great location
PROS: Very secure parking and good location. Nice kitchen, living room, and master bedroom with huge bathroom. Nice pool. Friendly tenants in the buildling.CONS: Layout not good. Balcony useless. Only way to it was through the master bedroom.Second bedroom and bathroom small. Felt bad having the master and our friends having the small room with no access to the balcony.Balcony and guest bedroom dirty. Otherwise clean.

As a group of 6 ladies from Canada I can not express enough how pleased we were with the overall experience, after sending in an enquiry online regarding pricing I was being phoned within 5 minutes and speaking to someone, he answered all my question and and it was the start of a beautiful and pleasant vacation. When we stepped foot onto the property we were very pleased and then when we got to our room we were even more amazed, it exceeded all our expectations. As the person who booked on behalf of the rest of the group I was extremely nervous about what we would be getting…I was very very pleased with the results. As we were a group without a vehicle we were very happy with how close so many attractions were to us, we walked everywhere, to Pike Place Market, Shopping, Restaurants and even the Space Needle. Taking cabs to the Stadiums was ranged from $8-$25 depending on your group size, we found that to be very reasonable. And the Staff at the Metropolitan Towers were very welcoming to us and made our stay even better. Definitely 12 stars out of 10 from our happy Canadian group.
