It had all the amenities that was promised. Location is a good 15 min walk to Pike Place Market, which is enjoyable as there were shops along the way. Keari of alfred’s helped us get the extra keys we needed, and Steve and amanda of Shelby were great.The only downside was having to get the keys from another location..

Great home from home
A few girls and I stayed in alfred’s rental for a weekend. It was centrally located and about 3 blocks from the start if all the restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The only thing we wished there was in the room was a map.

Perfect for Our Needs
We are just preparing to check out of the 2 bedroom condo we rented for a week in downtown Seattle. The location was perfect for getting around Seattle since we were trying to avoid a car rental. We were able to get everywhere we wanted with either a short walk or with public transit. There was plenty of room for the nights my son’s family joined us, and it immediately felt like home. The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we did make, and the decor was comfortable and attractive. There were comfortable beds and extra blankets for the chillier nights. The washer and dryer made it possible to keep our clothes clean which was a bonus. The TV had enough options to keep us entertained after a long day of exploration, and the wi-fi allowed us to use our laptop to find the attractions we wanted to see. The entire condo was clean and welcoming upon our arrival. The transaction was completed entirely electronically, but we had no issue with customer service. We would definitely use alfred’s again in the future!

Woohoo for Pike Place
October isn’t exactly my favorite time of year in Seattle, but I come here for work mostly in the fall and winter. This property is right by the Four Seasons and Pike Place. Upon entering the room, it is small, but has quality finishes and is very comfortable for 2 adults and maybe a small child. Not more than that. No real views to speak of, unless your on the roof top deck, that is pretty awesome.

Nice accommodations - overall
The Shelby apartment comfortably accommodated our party of two people and two small dogs. There was minimal street noise and plenty of eating options nearby. The Thai restaurant behind the apartment was great as was the cupcake bakery. Very easy freeway access.Only a couple of issues. There was no salt/pepper/baggies/tin foil, etc. The overhead lighting in the kitchen was very dim so was a little bit of a challenge to cook after dark. Maybe they just need to replace the bulbs.

Great location
Loved the location. There is some street noise and the sofa beds aren’t comfortable but it is a nice size apartment. Only one television is inconvenient if there are kids. We enjoyed our week there, however.

Great location.. conveniences of home
Second time staying with family downtown in this type of rental to do touristy things. Nice condo with adequate furnishings and kitchen set-up. Paid extra for daily parking and very worth it. Walked most places. Shopped and ate in for breakfast and some dinners. 2nd floor unit does have a lot of street noise (on the corner) from partying pedestrians (and vehicles…. but that’s ok).

Great location. Plenty of space.
My husband, adult son, son’s girlfriend and I spent 6 days. It was the perfect location for seeing Seattle. It was a close walk to downtown and the harbor. I appreciated having locked parking, and there was never a problem finding a space. The apartment was spacious and clean, but did have a slight musty smell in the entryway. It was nice to have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. I would recommend this place to others.

Perfect apartment conveniently located near just about everything.
This place left little to desire. It was downtown. Walking distance to the Needle, Puke Market, Westlake Ctr/ Monorail. A Whole foods. The apt itself was very clean and very spacious. I went with my husband, 1yr old and in-laws and there was more than enough space. The way Stay Alfred sets it up you never even need to speak to anyone cause you get passwords and lockbox. It was a great experience overall. We stayed a whole week and have no complaints.

great location
The condo was clean and comfortable, well furnished and with adequate dishes for a group of four. The location is excellent…we took cabs (never more than 6-7 blocks to a destination) and walked most places. Nice weight room. I would have given an excellent rating, but the building is on a VERY loud and busy corner…lots of sirens and buses…We checked and found the windows were double paned, but they did not block the noise. We could hear the talking (and some serious fighting) below our window…Earplugs are a must! Would have liked a tv in master suite.

Stay Alfred, great place to stay in Seattle
Large, extremely clean and great location. Our 2 bedroom two bath unit was perfect for our 3 day stay in Seattle. I wouldn’t stay anyplace else if visiting Seattle again.Of course there are always a few minor draw backs. One bedroom window is just above the chimney of the sports bar next door so we didn’t open it up due to the smell of their cooking and there is a fire station about a block away so a few sirens awoke us. You should bring your own salt, pepper and laundry detergent as our unit ‘s was 99% gone. Also, while parking is free, it is tight. We rented a Camry and wished we had something a little smaller.The largest draw back it that traffic/driving in downtown Seattle is “interesting” but that has nothing to do with Stay Alfred! Bottom line, We would/will stay there again and highly recommend Stay Alfred and this location!!!!!!!!!!

Our Seattle stay at The Shelby
We were travelling with another couple. Our stay at the Shelby was great-location was perfect and the unit was very nice. It was hot in Seattle (a rarity, we hear), so we needed to call and request another fan; but they were pretty quick in getting one to us. The street out front (by master bedroom) is a bit noisy, but if you are there when the windows are closed, you’d hardly notice! And when we got the fan, it helped to muffle the street noise! The kitchen had everything we needed, loved the dining area and living room. I would definitely stay here again-and will definitely try another Stay Alfred location!

We had a great time in Seattle!!
We were very pleased with our apartment at The Shelby in Seattle as it was spacious, comfortable and very conveniently located. We were a comfortable walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go, but it was also easy to get a ride via taxi or Uber from out front of the building. We felt very safe in both the building and the neighborhood where it was located. The Stay Alfred staff were always available by phone/email, quickly and efficiently taking care of questions/concerns. All the information given for check-in made lots of sense when following the instructions exactly as written. We would definitely use Stay Alfred again.

Great views
We stayed in this apartment in July. The location was great and the view of the space needle amazing. If you have more than one car, parking is a bit of a nightmare. Our car was loaded with camping gear and it was difficult to find a covered garage. The lots recommended were not covered, and the homeless surrounding the lots continually asked for “tips” to watch our car, which was irritating. Also, there is no air conditioning. I know this usually isn’t an issue in Seattle, but it was when we were there.

You are BRILLIANT!
All weekend long my sister, son, and nephew kept saying how brilliant I was for finding the Shelby. We could not be in a better location in Seattle. Pikes, Space Needle, Downtown, Waterfront! We walked everywhere and never needed our car. The condo was well appointed, with plenty of room. It was clean and had everything we needed. We walked to a downtown grocery and ate in when we wanted! The beds were comfortable which surprised us. This place was so much more comfortable than a hotel and less expensive than two rooms in a similarly located hotel. All in all a very successful weekend and you know what, I am brilliant for finding this place! I will use Stay Alfred again and when in Seattle, book this place again!

The location was beyond expectations and the apartment was great.
Stay Alfred apartment, The Shelby, was great! The location was amazing, the Space Needle was visible outside our window. We were able to take the Light Rail from Sea-Tac airport and walk to the apartment. The apartment was centrally located and on the bus lines so no car was needed.The only negative was that there was no way to adjust the heat/air conditioning in the apartment. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Great vacation
The apartment that we stayed in was great. It had everything that we needed (except for a vase for the beautiful flowers we bought at Pike’s Place market) The apartment was centrally located to everything we wanted to do so we were able to walk to everyplace we went. The street it was on had a couple of grocery stores, Multiple restaurants and coffee shops. I felt like the customer service was extremely good I did have to call about one thing and they tried to be very helpful. The apartment was clean and well stocked. I will definitely look into Stay Alfred again when I am traveling.
