The apartment was great. The building was posh, the view was astounding — we were able to watch a Friday noontime show from our balcony, and the views of the bay were mesmerizing. The kitchen was very serviceable and we were able to eat quite a few meals at the dining table which saved us time, money and energy since we have kids with us. There are a lot of restaurants as well as a convenience store within a very short walking distance. We also walked to Pike Market (about 0.5miles), the waterfront (2 very steep blocks down the hill) and the library right from the apt. It was great to be able to park the car in the basement garage and not have to worry about it for the duration of our stay. Do pay attention to where you leave the car, the parking lot is very confusing!

We travelled for a family wedding, and included ages from 6 weeks to 66 years. Location is great, with lots of shopping and restaurants in the area, a pool for the kids (which we used) and a very good melding of hotel amenities and the spaciousness and feel of a home. (close to pike’s place market) We didn’t do any cooking, but the units are set to accommodate it. Parking is kind of difficult to figure out, as are the elevators, since this complex occupies a block of severely sloping land. But right across from the aquarium, the pier with the ferris wheel, and all of the Seattle nightlife. Stay Alfred, the managers, are very well organized.

Loved the view and the closeness to great places. The venue where we performed was two blocks away. Found the concierge helpful and appreciated that the parking area that went right to room level. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. When we asked for more towels we got them right away. Pools and fitness rooms were also wonderful and the fact that you did not have to go through the lobby was considerate. When we found we had left something at the rental Diane could not have been more helpful. However, the rental did not have enough overhead and lamp light. When the sun went down it was impossible to find a good place to read. Also, it took days for my kindle and my son’s laptop to get wifi and calling did not seem to help. All in all I loved the experience and would not hesitate to return the next time we have a performance in Seattle.

We stayed for a week in 1205 Ne-what a great place! The views of the ferry docks and Harbor Island are incredible, as well as looking down to the stadiums. And talk about access to everything! Metro tunnel 1 block east, Pike Place Market 2 blocks north-fabulous! And the condo had everything and was very comfortable-would love to stay there again!

When booking this apartment, a downtown location was all I was hoping for, but we arrived and opened the blinds, Viola! Puget Sound and the Great Wheel were our view for our six day stay. Across the street the Seattle art Museum, (a local clued us in on the free admission Thursdays), two blocks down Pike’s Place Market, one block behind us walk to an amazing view on the Great Wheel and so much more. As to the apartment itself, it was perfect for the six of us. Plenty of room, the concierges could not have been more helpful. From scooter receiving,(father-in-law required use of a scooter from a local rental group), parking directions and dining recommendations they met us every time with a smile. I am looking forward to returning to Seattle and staying here again!

The unit was exceptionatly clean. Super Target with grocery store only 3 blocks away. Great for couples or family rental. Great view from the balcony. Within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Good mix of resturants nearby. If you are coming from Sec-tac,take the lite-link rail. It’s only $2.50 per head and gets you too the University station in 35 minutes, which is 2 blocks from the unit verses $35 to $40 by cab. The following comments are not a deal breaker. Unit could use some safety strips in the bath tub as the water drains very slow during showers and tub becomes slippery. Burners on the stove are not the ones for this stove. They sit up high and at an angle making creative adjustments with pots and pans. My guess is the manufacturer no longer makes parts for this unit, so they had to put in something that works. I was able to adjust and use the stove and would rent this unit again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely at Harbor Steps! Absolutely the perfect location, close to Pike Place, great restaurants, even the little market at Harbor Steps. Glad we didn’t rent a car, really didn’t need one. Accommodations were wonderful. Glad you had box fans in the unit, otherwise it would have been a little stuffy on some days. Only thing that would have made it better is one additional television in the unit, and perhaps the carpeting could be cleaner-lots of spots. Other than that, perfect! We absolutely loved the view, and sat on our porch each morning enjoying our coffee and overlooking Puget Sound. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Harbor Steps was incredible. Not just the view, which alone would have been worth it, but we were only minutes to Pikes Place Market! We discovered a concert being held on one of the nights we were there and it was at the Benaroya Hall, 2 blocks from where we were staying! Access to the condo and parking was so simple. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will definitely stay there again!!

“The alfred Harbor Steps was a great location for all of Seattle’s sights. We were one couple and one single adult. We walked to Pike Street Market almost everyday and the well equipped kitchen was great for cooking the seafood goodies we got there.The condo was roomy for three people and the bathrooms were huge.Great views! Good restaurants within fifty feet of the door and good recommendations from the stayalfred app. The cost was less than half of the hotels in the area so a great value too.

This unit was located on the Garden level of the Harbor Steps apartment and Inn, so no harbor view, but it was quiet. We took this trip with my in-laws who were in their 60s and they easily could walk to all our destinations (the Market, the Ferris wheel, Pioneer Square). We took the amtrak up from Portland and this unit was steps away from the light-rail station (University Station) and was easy to find. The four of us comfortably fit in this one-bedroom. The in-laws were very pleased with how comfortable the king-sized bed was. Even the sleeper sofa bed was comfortable! The bathroom was spacious with a double vanity, a very nice two-person tub and a large separate shower. We didn’t make good use of the fully equipped kitchen but it had everything (even a wine bottle opener!). The concierge was helpful in recommending places to eat and gave the in-laws a copy of the downtown walking map. The building also had activities some nights out of the week (karaoke and movie night) so if you wanted to partake in that you could. We’ve already told all our friends about this place and they all want to stay there the next time they’re in Seattle!

My wife, daughter, my parents, and I all stayed at Unit 720 of the SW Harbor Steps tower for 5 nights. It was an awesome place to stay. Much better than staying at a hotel. This particular unit was over 1200 sq ft in size. The unit is configured with 2BA 2BR. One of the bedrooms has a full size private bathroom. Kitchen was very nice with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Spacious living/dining area with walkout patio. There is a washer/dryer combination in a closet.The bedrooms were fully furnished with linens, blankets, pillows, clothes hangers. The bathrooms were fully furnished with towels, bath mat, and toilet paper. The living/dining area was fully furnished with two couch/futons, end tables, lamps, rug, flat screen TV, cable box, DVD player, cable modem, wireless router. The kitchen was fully furnished with full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, and sink. Counter tops were granite. The cabinets held large/small plates, cups, glasses, silverware, and utensils for about 6.When we arrived the concierge knew the routine and handed us the keys to the unit and parking card key. Quick and painless. It took us a bit to figure out the parking garage. As once you enter the garage, which is under the tower complex, a person can get disoriented pretty fast. We also found the elevators pretty confusing at first, as some elevators go from the underground parking up to 6th floor, and no higher. Where some other elevators go from parking all the way up to the highest floors. After we figured out the elevators, it was not a problem.The unit was clean and spotless when we arrived. Everything was in order. During our entire stay, we only found a single item that the cleaning crew missed: the dryer vent filter was completely clogged. I sent an email to Alfred’s regarding that oversight, so hopefully it will be addressed in the future. Like I say, everything else was clean and spotless and in perfect order.It appeared that on 7th floor of the SW tower, Alfred’s rents units 718 and 720. The pool is directly below on 6th floor. So we simply used the stairwell right next to our unit to go down one floor and use the pool. We stayed in unit 720. The website says water view. I guess there is a water view of maybe 20 degrees. So don’t expect a gorgeous water view. It doesn’t look like Alfred’s charges any more for the minimalistic water view unit than the other units. However we did not stay at Harbor Steps for the view, but rather the location, location, location. May of the major sights were within just a few blocks, an easy walk. I don’t think you could have stayed in a hotel and been any closer to the major sights. Seriously.In closing, I would highly recommend staying at Harbor Steps apartments with Alfred’s. Our extended family had a very enjoyable stay. In our situation we actually saved money by staying here renting a 2 BA 2 BR unit verses having to stay at 2 smaller rooms at a hotel. Also we saved money by cooking our own breakfast meals and an occasional dinner with food purchased at the local Pike’s Market

Great location for our family of 5. They have several properties in the building, we stayed in 603 with a waterview. It was great. It wasn’t the fanciest we’ve stayed in, but it was very nice. Had wifi which was nice. Never used the stacked washer and dryer as we were only there for a few days, looked smaller though. I would certainly recommend to friends.

Our interaction with alfred’s was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the rental process very easy. The staff at the desk when we arrived was not very helpful. We followed their directions to the parking garage and ended up going thru two garages before getting to the correct one.The location was perfect. We could walk to Pikes Market and the wharf and there were restaurants and bistros right out our door.

Stayed at the Harbor Steps for 7 days with my family, absolutely loved it. Lots do do, art museum, Pikes, and the Ye Ole Curiosity shop is just a few blocks away, the kids loved it. The rooms was spacious and comfortable. The views were awesome! Kitchen could have been a little better stocked. The service was great.

I stayed here with my wife and two friends. We loved the place. Very roomy with nice furniture. The location was perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to Pike’s Market and a short cab to the Spaceneedle, EMP, and Chihuly museum. Would recommend it to anyone.

I really can’t say enough about how great the Stay Alfred experience was for me. The rental was AMAZEBALLS, the customer service from the Stay Alfred staff was outstandingly good and the location of the property is a stone’s throw from Pike Place Market. WOW. I would stay at a Stay Alfred property again in a heartbeat. It’s rare to find such excellence in any company - they should be the go-to company for how to “get it right”.

Spent a few nights at Harbor Steps apartments through Stay Alfred. It was a 2 bedroom that was perfect for me, my 2 daughters and friend with her daughter. We all loved the view of the Ferris wheel, pool and that Pike Place Market was a few blocks away. It was a fantastic location so close to everything in the heart of the city.Stay Alfed was excellent with booking and they have an app which was extremely helpful.

This is a awesome condo! Very nice and conveniently close to everything. The kitchen had everything we needed including a vase to put our lovely flowers from Pikes Market. Centrally located to everything you want to do in downtown Seattle.

This is the second time we have rented from Stay Alfred. The Check-in, Check-out are easy and the apartment was well appointed. A view of the water, the ferris wheel and the activity below. So close to Pikes Market, restaurants, theater, comedy that you can walk everywhere. I won’t hesitate to rent again!

Loved our condo in Seattle it’s in a great location, right in the heart of downtown and overlooking the water. All very clean and comfortable, also great facilities in the building with gym, pool, outdoor deck etc. The only thing I would comment is that there wasn’t any air con so we had the fans blasting as it was a hot weekend, but other than that would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous view from the apartment which is nicely appointed and very comfortable for two couples. Located near to many tourist attractions. In general Seattle lacks AC and so does the apartment. However there are fans and portable AC units. Really appreciated having a washer dryer.

Stated 3 nights in July. Hot, hotPortable air conditioners were ineffective. Place was ok, and needing an update. Good location but overall similar in price to upscale hotel so wouldn’t stay Gain

The location was really great. Harbor Steps was right in the heart of everything! The apartment was well furnish, and the kitchen was clean and very nice. Our unit’s views overlooked the bay and the Seattle Great Wheel. We enjoyed our stay there and would come back again. Tip or warning: The place only has heat and no built-in air conditioning. This may not usually be a problem, since Seattle has moderate temperature. But this summer Seattle has been warm. To be fair, they did provide a floor air conditioner that you vent out the window. We opened up during the day when we were home and were comfortable. But at night, being in the city, if you open the window for air, or venting the air conditioner, there is a great deal of noise. Also the air conditioner took up so much space we could not walk around the bed. Otherwise, a great value for the area.

The location is outstanding if you want to do things in downtown Seattle. However, the quality of the unit was only so-so. The carpet was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Lots of dings on the walls, and the furnishings in the unit weren’t anything special.

Great location, close to everything for our family of 5. Enjoyed cooking our own meals but the kitchen is minimally stocked (pots & pans) and no serving bowls. Not quite worth the price ($400+/night) since one bathroom had a missing towel rack and big holes in the wall and the other bathroom had a towel rack that was falling off the wall. We didn’t visit the pool or library but the building itself was clean and secure. Again, saving grace was the location and waterfront view. We had a good time.

Stayed with my wife and family of 3 older kids. Cannot beat the location adjacent to Pike and within walking distance of most everything. Great value for price. Well furnished and maintained. Not really harbor view on the 11th floor- adjacent building blocked the view. They need to address one thing- apartment can be warm. It was in the 80’s and the apartment has a western view. Very hot and stuffy in the afternoon and evening. They need to invest in better blinds. Provided portable AC units very cumbersome, popped the breakers and are not easily put in place. Slept with windows open- a lot of outside noise from the highway. Still a great place.
