solid memphis rental

The apartment was clean and functional. As advertised it is literally steps from AutoZone Park, also convenient to Beale St, South Main area and other downtown destinations. No problems with payments or getting keys/access to the rental. Only minor quibbles were that our unit was across the street (eg different address) from the address of the complex listed and the smoke alarm battery was expiring, letting us know it with a chirp every few seconds for the duration of the long weekend.

We spent a long weekend at this condo and loved it. The downtown location was an easy walk to most attractions and many restaurants. The ballpark is literally in the backyard with patio access to the games.

It was even better than I expected.

This was great for my wife and me and our two young adult daughters. Since it was a get together with both daughters coming from other states, it was so nice to be able to share the same space instead of multiple hotel rooms. It was spacious, nicely decorated, and had so many comforts of home. I’ll always check this option in the future when we’re looking for multiple rooms.

Very nice even with a few logistical issues

The condo was very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable with basic items such as a hotel would furnish, which I found to be very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would stay again should the need arise. Parking for 2 cars was a bit tricky. We parked our vehicle in the garage across the street and our friends that stayed with us had to find somewhere else to park their vehicle and were concerned that they would be towed, etc. Also, Self check-in is a new concept to me and, though the instructions are very clear, it took a little bit to figure it out. No one answered the call box when we first arrived and someone else, coming and going from the complex had to let us in, seeing that we were renting the condo for the weekend. Also upon leaving, the process of retrieval of our car from the garage, loading up in the middle of the street because no parking was available and getting the keys/fobs back was a bit of a logistical puzzle. All in all, it was a good experience and I would recommend staying here, just being aware of potential check in and parking issues. I was able to call and talk to someone at Stay Alfred when I had questions about these things and they were helpful. Also, when initially trying to book the property, the agent I spoke to did not want to book for just 2 nights though that is what the website advertised as the minimum stay time. I had to call back several times, waiting until a specified date to see if the property had rented for a longer period of time before I was allowed to book for the advertised 2 night minimum. We were attending a wedding close by and this was an ideal location for us, so I did chose to wait, not finding another property as suitable, eventually being allowed to book this property for 2 nights.

Very nice place to stay!

We would definitely stay here again. It was really nice. The parking was only for one car and we had another couple coming in with no place to park their car. We talked to the management, which was on site, and they helped us get a place in the visitor parking for their car.

Short Walk to Beale st

Unit was good. Very clean. However the building itself has a terrible odour as soon as you walk in the front door. The check in was not good. Because of the odour and check in problems I could not recommend this property. It is in close proximity to Beale Street and very close to the stadium

Great apartment in great location

We were two couples visiting Memphis to experience the blues, Graceland and the history of civil rights. The apartment is very well appointed, equipped and spacious. It is very suitable for two couples travelling together. It’s location was perfect for all the places in the centre of the town. Obviously Graceland is a little out of town but within easy reach. Most places of interest were walkable and if not the trolley bus was within a few minutes walk.

Great location!

The apartment was in a fantastic location! Lots to do within walking distance and anything that wasn’t walking distance was only a short car ride. Everything was incredibly clean and easy to use. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone visiting Memphis!!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Very quiet and comfortable. Nearby covered parking was a plus - although when we returned late to the condo, an available parking space was often a challenge to find. The only real problem was upon arrival. We had difficulty getting in to the building to get a key to the condo. There was no door or lobby attendant on duty and we had to wait for someone to come out of the building who was also willing to let us in. We called Stay Alfred for assistance but was left on hold without being assisted.

Location and amenities more than met our expectations

Stay Alfred’s Fielders Square property in Memphis, TN exceeded our expectation. The property is located within easy walking distance to the river, the Beale Street attractions, and downtown. We rented the 2 bedroom apartment which has two generous sized bedrooms separated by a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and living room. The apartment was on the 3rd floor which is easily accessed by an elevator. The building is well secured and requires a key to access the lobby and the parking garage. It’s location is on a quiet street. We will definitely consider using Stay Alfred for our future accommodations.

Great stay close to all downtown Memphis offers.

The unit was perfect for our needs. We were attending the International Blues Challenge do the location was great. Overall we saved money over using a downtown hotel.One improvement needed is the WiFi, it is spotty and slow in the unit.Everything was clean and the building is quiet. The streetlights do make the room a bit bright at night. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Great. very clean, nice unit, centrally located for Mephis adventures

We had an excellent 2 bedroom unit. Very clean, every thing you need. We had a small balcony, which was nice to open our patio doors. Washer and dryer. Parking ramp across the street. The Fielders Square is just a few blocks from Beale St., Civil Rights Museum, Rock and Soul Museum and many more attractions. If you go during ball season, you are right next to the ball diamonds. If we visit Memphis again, we will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location downtown

A group of 5 of us stayed at the 2 bedroom unit. The apartment has lots of room, it is well decorated and nicely appointed. The location is in the outfield of the ballpark downtown. Parking is secured directly across the street. TV and internet are Comcast. The internet was iffy, but I have read that is just how Comcast is. Did not effect us because we were there on a weekend getaway and cell service was fine. Location is somewhat secluded from downtown traffic. Unit was an excellent value, great location and it felt very comfortable and home-like. All of us agreed we would easily stay there again.

Great Apartment - So much better than hotel

This is a great apartment! Apartment, building, parking and neighborhood were friendly and safe. Location is great - walk to Beale Street, Nat’l Civil Rights Museum, Main Street, etc.Rooms are very large. Best thing was the ease of renting and accessing apartment with Stay Alfred staff. They responded quickly and gave detailed instructions.Looking forward to returning during baseball season to take advantage of the stadium access.

Great location and very good value!

We were a group of five women who were doing a girls getaway. We stayed two nights and the condo was easy to find, clean and had plenty of room for us all. The location is awesome -within walking distance to Beale St. but we opted to use Uber which was super fast and cheap. It was a great value (as we split the room five ways and each paid $75 for two nights). We had a great trip and the condo had everything we needed and expected.

I was at the SIGCSE conference for 5 days and found this property on Airbnb. As an apartment it was faultless, very well appointed and good value. The owners were also very responsive so I did not feel nervous before arriving there. All questions were responded to very quickly while I was there also. The only glitch was the WiFi, which they did their best to sort out and as it was the first time they rented it out I can understand it.

Apartment was very clean and had all the essentials for a stay with family. Area felt very secure- private parking garage. Key card access only to apartment building. We are planning to stay here again when we return. Check-in was a breeze and all dealings with the owner were excellent.

The Stay Alfred suite in Fielder Square has an excellent location, just a five minute walk from the Peabody Hotel and 15 minutes from Sun Studios. The apartment is very clean and tidy. The two bedrooms are convenient for small groups, such as ours, as the bedrooms are quite separate. However, the second bedroom is incredibly small: just 15 inches clearance on one side of the bed, 12 inches at the foot and about 24 inches on the far side. The beds were comfortable. We had one major maintenance issue, with an upper cupboard door that was very loose when we arrive and literally falling off when we left. We let the Stay Alfred office know and they seemed grateful. Parking is just across the road in the ground floor of a parking structure. It’s not secure, but the area appears to be quite safe. All in all, our two night stay was comfortable, though a bit cramped in the second bedroom.

Great Location!

This condo was in the perfect location. It was within a 10 minute walk to Beale St and the Peabody Hotel. It was located in a nice neighborhood and in a beautiful building. The condo had more than enough room for all of us. It was very clean and furnished with modern furnishings. I would highly recommend paying the extra fee to park in the parking garage. It is literally right across a tiny street and so convenient and safe. There are rarely spots to park at on the street and it is metered. The parking garage was worth every dime. My entire experience from start to finish was handled by professionals. They answered every question and need that I had almost immediately. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. In fact, I didn’t make the decision to pay for the parking until an hour before we arrived. When we did arrive, the parking pass was already in our room waiting for us. Now that’s service!The only thing that wasn’t stellar was the internet. It was pretty slow.Also the dishwasher had dirty dishes in it when we arrived. I think the cleaning lady just forgot about them. It wasn’t a big deal though. We turned it on and had clean dishes shortly after. If you book on VRBO like I did, they don’t mention a thing about the extra parking fees. It’s $20/day to park in the garage. They also don’t open the pool until late May.We are already making plans to visit Memphis again and we will definitely be staying here.

A Gem in Downtown Memphis

The two-bedroom condo was comfortable and well-appointed. We had two couples stay for a long weekend. The location was close to many of the downtown attractions. The parking was convenient. We did visit the leasing office with the movie viewing area and the tabletop shuffleboard; unfortunately, the facilities closed at 6:00 pm on the day we stopped by. I would definitely recommend this Stay Alfred property!

Great 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. We were able to walk to Beale Street, the Peabody Hotel to see the ducks and many restaurants. Secure parking was terrific.We visited just before baseball season started, but the ballpark was beautiful, would love to go back and catch a few games and utilize the pool at the complex. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms large and the “in-unit” washer and dryer came in handy. We brought our own detergent, but were pleasantly surprised to find detergent and fabric softener already there, kitchen was well stocked with basic supplies and free wi-fi was terrific for the teenagers !

THE BEST STAY EVER!

The rental property was the best place ever. They actually thought of absolutely everything. It was very, very spacious and tons of closet space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was just a comfortable and convenient as being at home. Everything was right at our fingertips. Kitchen was full furnished with all of the dishes. No amenity was spared. I would definitely book again, in fact I already tried but the dates that we needed were not available. I would definitely recommend this site to others. There was nothing that we disliked about this property. We loved absolutely everything!

So much space and within walking distance to most downtown attractions including Beale St. Building residents very friendly and police cameras all through the downtown area along with patrols so worries about late nights out. In 4 days we did Riverboat tours, Sun Studios, Rock n Soul museum, Civil Rights museum, City Ghost Tour, Graceland, and Red Birds baseball game and of course Beale St. Only drove my car twice which was parked in the garage (limited street parking so do yourself a favor and get garage parking if you have a vehicle) Everything we needed to cook breakfast and comfortable large beds. Really Good Time!

Great stay - close to everything!

We enjoyed the stay. We were right next door to Fielder Square and got to enjoy some of the festivities of the park while we were there. The amenities were clean and decor was very nicely done. The street that the building is on is very quiet and the residents are friendly and very helpful.We could walk to different restaurants and Beale Street is just about a 5 minute walk from the building.The staff was helpful, we had no problem entering into the building when we first booked. They provide instructions prior to the stay that were precise and easy to understand.What I liked after we left was that they were very gracious and responded well to the minor suggestions that we had.

Very convenient, but really not two bedrooms

While the master suite is expansive, the 2nd bedroom is off the hall, has no windows and barely fits the queen bed. We were traveling with Another couple so it was really awkward for us to take the master and them have to be in a tiny, windowless room. The theatre mentioned was locked and we were told not ever used. The pool was not open. The pictures are not the actual room although it was nicely furnished. I loved the location. We were able to walk to the Peabody, Beale street, Sun Studios etc. so overall a good place except for that supposed 2nd bedroom.
