This was a great find. I found stayalfred.com because the vrbo.com listing I wanted to book was occupied. The building and unit looked clean and new, and it also included covered parking which was great because we had a rental. This was pretty close to everything we wanted to see in Portland. We walked a lot of the time!

Downtown escape

What a nice experience. I took my daughter to Portland for an escape. The place was great. Very comfortable and there’s a Starbucks on the corner. I’d love to go again and take my wife this time.

Great Location For Downtown

Great residences, plush carpet and well equipped kitchen. decent TV’s and internet was strong. A Starbucks downstairs was a bonus. Using teh APP it was easy to follow instructions on arrival and during our stay.

Great central location in Portland. Very close to light rail, bike rental options, and very walkable right out the front door. Apartment was clean and spacious with all the amenities you’d need to make it a home away form home!

Great week!

I dated here for the 2015 Rose festival and had a blast with my close friends. Location was awesome with a sweet sauna and hot tub as well as a small balcony overlooking the park. Friendly Neibors and easy to walk and uber to various places. We’ll taken care of and very clean. 10 out of 10 … Best vacation rental experience ever. Stay Alfred has a n app that gives you all the information on check in and check out instructions as well as mapping to navigate around. Awesome customer service.

great hotel alternative

Stay Alfred has awesome customer service. Everyone I dealt with went out of their way to help, even when we had an issue with storing luggage before check in, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. My only issue was the lack of “good” air conditioning. There was just a small unit in the dining room and we Texans were uncomfortable in the unseasonable heat. That being said, it really was an unusually hot spell in Portland. I think the temperatures are rarely that warm. We would gladly stay again. A first rate company!

Great Location

The place was luxurious, and I appreciated the split bedrooms and roomy bathrooms. The kitchen and baths were well-appointed and had everything we needed, including extra pillows. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere, which was my goal!

Comfort in Portland

I rented two apartments from StayAlfred, to accomodate a business meeting where I brought three colleagues, two in each apartment. The location is superb, on a quite block across from the stunning redo of the Federal building and a city park. The check in process was flawless, the apartment was well setup, and as advertised. With just two in each, they were quite spacious, could easily accommodate more. The area is convenient to downtown and the river, but a bit away from the action of the Pearl District, etc. Perfect for us, but a twenty minute walk for those interested in a more funky flavor. Only downer was the lame fitness center in the building. Definately an incentive to take a run along the river.

Excellent location and comfortable unit

This apartment is a 5mn from Pioneer Place and all Portland activities within few minutes. The unit was clean, nice decorated and arrival and departure formalities very easy. Just one point: air conditioning is old and noisy therefore I did not use it during the night and rather opened the windows. This is a weak point considering the price. Otherwise everything was perfect

Great location

This was a very good rental. The building was clean and the beds comfy. We liked the space and we could walk as far as Burnside (voodoo donuts) and around shopping very quickly so the location worked for us. We would have given it an excellent if they had provided complimentary coffee and tea.

Great Location, Comfortable Apartment

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time exploring downtown Portland, as all of its attractions were within walking distance or a short ride on the tram. Loved having a paid parking spot in the garage. Spacious apartment for 4 adults, two full bedrooms and a good kitchen that worked well for breakfast. Wifi was a bit weak away from the living room. Not a good apartment for hot summer since there is only one small window AC unit that does not cool the bedrooms.

Small touches made it special

My colleague and I stayed here on a business trip. The location was perfect for us and close to everything.We were pleasantly surprised by the little snack basket, coffee and very clear instructions about the keys, parking and other details. We also thought the ear plugs and eye mask were great for those not used to “city sounds”. I didn’t use them, but we thought they were a nice touch.All in all it was a great place with a great location! We will be back!
