If I travel to Denver again this will be my home away from home.

Everything was amazing and clean. The room we rented was big enough to provide privacy to everyone, but still felt like we were in a hotel room. Everything was provided for us from dishes to towels. Couldn’t ask for a better vacation for my birthday. I will be spreading the word about StayAlfred and hopefully will be using you guys in the near future. The location of this room was walking distances to Coors Field and 16th street was minutes away (driving). You will not regret staying here! Thank you, Moe

Unit 351: Excellent 2-BR, full kitchen, DR, LR unit but can be NOISY

Location great and within 3 blocks of free 16th street mall shuttle and Union station. Nicely furnished, good taste and decent quality. Best equipped kitchen ever rented with saran wrap, aluminum foil and paper towels which are rarely provided. However, no sponge & it took 2 days to arrive after request. Cookies and energy bars were a nice touch. I stayed Sat-Thurs. Unit 351 is on the corner flanked by 4 lanes of traffic and a overpass at the same level on one side and flanked by freight train tracks on the other side. The unit resonates like a guitar sound box which was particularly annoying at 2 am with “cowboys” in hot cars and underperforming mufflers. Miscellaneous things that needed attention were a broken clothes rack in the master BR that precluded hanging dresses and coats, a soiled pillow that dearly needed cleaning, TV monitor that kept going black. The condo management, not SatyAlfred, gets a “D” because of a terrible job cleaning vomit from the hall carpet. I notified StayAlfred of the residual stains and a missed section of carpet that was not cleaned at all. Ugh!Also, Condo should offer 2 trash receptacles-one landfill and recycle; provide a list of stations that correspond to channels.

Overall I’d do it again!

First I will say any of the positives outweigh the negatives. We were at the rental more than expected because of the weather. 1. Location is great, but everything is a SHORT walk away! It’s not right outside the door like I imagined (not a big deal, but perfection). 2. There were LOUD clunking noises that woke me up multiple times on Friday morning. It was not the train, not people, but a noise coming from the wall. The only thing we could think of was something with many people showering in the building at the same time??? It was fine Saturday and Sunday morning and the train noise was not bad AT ALL. 3. The cable TV wasn’t working and the DVD was not set up. We called in to get it fixed and I’m not sure if Anyone came, but it wasn’t fixed. After about 45 minutes of messing with it it finally worked… We still aren’t sure how! Typically on vacation that is my last concern, but it was snowing… In May… 6-8 inches… And it was coming down sideways! We weren’t motivated or prepared to freeze that much! 4. My sink drain (in the king sized bed bedroom) was backed up so bad it almost overflowed. We notified Alfred and they said they’d report it to the building. It never was taken care of.. Again, not a big deal but just some feedback. Overall it was a great location and added great value to our vacation with another couple. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathe with the common space gave us enough togetherness and also privacy! Everyone I spoke with on the phone was FANTASTIC, super knowledgeable and friendly! thanks for a great time in Denver, but next time try to fix the weather too ;)

Don’t Stay in a Hotel if You Can Stay Alfred

First things first- YOU MUST CHECK YOUR EMAIL OR THE STAY ALFRED APP AND READ DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY when checking in. Otherwise, you are making things hard on yourself. This was such a great place to stay. For about the price of a nicer hotel room in the downtown area, we stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen in the middle of where it is all happening in Denver. Perfect when you are traveling with two young adult children. It was clean and so comfortable. The people residing in the building were super friendly and helpful. The building was secure but easy to access once you figured all the keys out. Note: get the parking pass. There is no parking in the area and the parking on the street is two hours. You will be ticketed. The location is within walking distance to the free mall shuttle, and the walk to 16th Street is easy. Plenty of walking paths nearby as well.The wifi is spotty in the building, but the business center is available if you need to use it.This concept is great and so much better than staying in a hotel, for us anyway. Overall, we LOVED our stay here and will use Stay Alfred again.
